Talon Precision Announces Acquisition of B & A Company, a Connecticut-Based Aerospace and Defense Precision Machining Firm

Talon Precision, a recently launched company dedicated to building the nation’s premier precision manufacturing business, today announced the acquisition of B & A Company, a respected precision machining firm based in Milford, CT. The transaction was completed on March 13, 2026.

Founded in 1973 by Bert and Anita Schwarz, B & A Company has established itself as a vital link in the Aerospace Alley supply chain. B & A Company specializes in tight tolerance and complex metal components for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft—including valve, sensor, brake, and landing gear systems—and serves the commercial aerospace and defense sectors, as well as other mission critical end markets.

“B & A Company, founded by my parents, has grown up alongside and successfully served many of the key suppliers and OEMs in our region. We look forward to supporting the Talon Precision team as they carry on the B & A legacy into the Company’s next chapter,” said Rick Schwarz, who has co-led the company with his brother, Ron Schwarz, since 1999.

“We are incredibly excited to acquire such a storied business,” said Joe Rios, COO of Talon Precision. “We are building on the strong foundation the Schwarz family has laid by dedicating additional resources to advance the Company’s capabilities, creating more opportunities for current and future B & A employees, and continuing to serve our customers at the highest level.”

Touchstone Advisors served as advisor to B & A Company on the transaction.
